On this page, you can request a booking for any of the four double rooms at O’Vineyards Bed & Breakfast. If the system seems too complicated, just send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at +33 (0)6 30 18 99 10
There are 4 double rooms.
As soon as you walk into the room, you get a big eyeful of the Syrah planted on the south-facing slope of the Plateau de la Bade.
Laying in bed, you can see clear across all of the O’Vineyards Cabernet and straight on into the valley of Conques sur Orbiel with a clear view onto interminable fields of vines that stretch out to the foothills of la Montagne Noire.
This room’s view reminds you that you’re perched over the Merlot and Carcassonne, similar to the Chateaux de Lastours and the Lords of Cabaret who gave the Cabardes region its name. Villemoustaussou sits on the southern fringe of what was once called the Cabardes fiefdom and this room is like one of those Lordly outposts.
This could also be called the Merlot room, as it’s got a great full view of the Merlot vines. But the most remarkable thing for me is the nighttime view of the faraway glow of lights splashing across the medieval ramparts of Carcassonne.
