Le Parc is a must-see for foodies visiting Carcassonne. Franck Putelat, who used to be the chef at La Barbacane opened his own restaurant just outside the medieval castle where he has perfected his focus on nouvelle cuisine.
Chemin des Anglais
33 (0)4 68 71 80 80
closed from the 2nd to the 25th of January and from the 25th of April to the 2nd of May
This is a gastronomic restaurant that cannot be described by a number of stars in some guidebook. If you love being surprised by food, then you simply have to go.
It’s independently owned so Madame Putelat will be seating you as Monsieur prepares your meal. And you will be blown away by the quality of the food.
The restaurant is just outside of the medieval castle and is just a short drive from O’Vineyards B&B.
Here are some photos from the last time I dined out at Le Parc with the Association des Sommeliers de Paris. We had some epic food and wine! I hope you have a good time too.
