The people who run Metairie Montplaisir come from a restaurant background so they know what they’re doing.

Last time I dined here, we enjoyed a wonderful platter of black olive tapenades, fresh anchovies, and shellfish spreads with our aperitif in the living room.  Then we were brought to the dining room where Amelie presented the menu du jour and made sure everything was alright with us.
