Get out of Toulouse for a couple days and enjoy one of the closest winemaking regions. Driving from the peripherique of Toulouse to Villemoustaussou will take about 1 hour by car. Once here, you’ll be surrounded by vines and the comforts of country life. You’ll forget all about Airbus and your job in Toulouse as you taste through a variety of wines at O’Vineyards.
The Toulouse Wine Tasting Weekend is a quick getaway that includes
The wine tastings and workshops can vary throughout the year. You can do a cooking workshop with my mom, Liz, and she’ll use local ingredients to make dishes that pair with local foods. You can do a wine blending workshop with my dad, Joe, and you’ll learn how winemakers craft our delicate blends.
Or you can always choose to spend your time tasting through the wide range of reds we make at O’Vineyards. Every tasting and workshop is guided by one of us, which means you’ll be with a real winemaker and not some tour guide with a script.
It’s all about having fun, tasting wine, and having some memorable conversations.
You might want to leave yourself some time to visit the Cité de Carcassonne which is just a few kilometers from O’Vineyards. That might be a perfect location for you to enjoy your picnic lunch prepared by mom.
If you come by train, we can pick you up from the train station and drop you off for an extra 20€. Or you can take a cab which will probably cost 15€ each way.
