“The wine novices perfect paradise!”

5 of 5 starsWe spent two idyllic nights with Liz and Joe learning about beautiful wine and enjoying great company! As I write this we are enjoying bottle of Trah Lah Lah 2007 which we brought home (amongst numerous others). We enjoy our wine but are by no means experts, and to experience a true vineyard with delicious food and fabulous company without feeling intimidated was just what we were looking for. The accommodation was excellent – the comfiest bed in France! We cannot wait to visit again!!

Thanks Joe and Liz…”

“A wonderful evening”

“How fortunate to have found O’Vineyards through Tripadvisor. We spent a wonderful evening with such generous hosts were indulged with wonderful food and amazing wines. How nice to sit around one big table. A visit to the vineyards, followed by a cellar tour and blind tasting before being seated at one large table with the hosts and other guests. Think this was our best food and wine experience in this region in 5 years! Thank you so much – we hope to visit again and will be recommending this experience to all our friends.

At O’Vineyards we like to share good food and good wine with our visitors.

When it’s done and over, we realized we enjoy the company as much or more as they did!

The rest of the week, Liz treated our guests to many dishes, pairing with O’Vineyards wines including the new “Cuvée O’White”!

Paris, O’Vineyards and Cannes…We are very happy and proud to be part of Joyce and Jing’s honeymoon itinerary! In few days, they will fly back to Australia with a stop over in Singapore.

Fresh Fruits and Vegetables:
Take some time to research and find the fresh fruits and vegetables cultivated near you… you can’t always get what you want… so do the best you can..and taste the result! So good! your entourage will love it!

Here is my today recipe : apple, pork, potato and red cabbage, for two persons. If you don’t find the red cabbage, use an other fresh vegetable in a same fashion!

  1. Potato & roasted pork … Both pre-cooked…or could be left over from another meal!
  2. cut cabbage, oinon and apple
  3. in the wok, put a table spoon of olive oil, add the oinion, cabbage and apple, slices of roasted pork, a pinch “salt of Guérande” or “salt of Camargue”
  4. sauté for about 10 minutes

“Finnnnnnnnnnished! The 2102 harvest has finished fermentation and the pressing of the skins was completed Saturday 3rd of November!

When you grow grapes and make wine, you sometimes wonder whether the months of September and October exist. You start to clean and prepare for harvest in late August and the next thing you know; you are getting ready for Christmas!
During the harvest season, visitors are always amazed at how much happens on a daily basis.

Anyway we are extremely happy with the quality of our 2012 harvest and look forward to tasting with all our visitors!”

Follow the signs to Mazamet/ Villemoustaussou using the D118. At the end of the last straight part of D118, you will come to a roundabout with the Dyneff gas station.
  2. Take the exit towards Pennautier. Continue 500m to a small roundabout and go straight over.
  3. Look out for the second road on your right, Avenue des Cévennes which curves up hill (about 1km) to Avenue de la Montagne Noire on the left.
  4. At the last juction, bear left. the road sign “Ave de la Montagne Noire” (confusing as it seems to show a right turn)
  5. After another 500m you will see our red brick color building in the middle of the vines.
