Liz and joe fail to make the experience anything less than amazing ! This being the second time we visited O’vineyards and it did NOT disappoint. Having been before and loving every second of the tour,the hosts and the delicious wine and appetizers, it was only right to bring a friend along to experience this the next time round. My partner and I have lived in Carcassonne for two years and visited many vineyards and honestly nothing compares to this place. Do not think this place is just for older people or couples as both times we have attended with friends and we are 22 and 25 years old! Liz and joe cater for all ages and it’s so much fun and so interesting and of course DELICIOUS! O’vineyards produces the best wine I have ever tasted by a long shot; both red and white are to die for. These guys honestly deserve every kind word said about them as they make you feel so welcome from the moment you contact them via phone for a booking to the thank you email after the visit is finished ! Liz is an amazing cook and makes the most delicious food I’d highly recommend going for dinner/lunch at O’vineyards! Joe is both knowledgable and witty during the tour and answers many questions in a way someone who knows little about wine would understand! They are both very professional yet make you feel comfortable and not too formal! Let’s talk about muse… muse is O’vineyards mascot and she is the kindest and most clever dog and knows her way around the vineyard so well! She is such a little furry added pleasure to make you feel at home! Also, the mise en scene is just breathtaking, stunning views, lush gardens and a beautifully decorated home and rooms to stay in – I would 100% stay there I honestly can not stress enough of how much you will be missing out if you visit the area and don’t take the time out to visit O’vineyards,the best hosts, the best atmosphere, the best dog and of course the best wine ever! We will definitely be back again and again and again 🙂
